What the business needed
The website of a state enterprise maintaining over 7,300 km of roads in the Kharkiv region ran on an outdated 1C-Bitrix that was hard to maintain and update. It had to move to a modern platform without losing years of news, documents and photos.
What we did
- 01
Site and content audit
Listed every page, section, document and photo so nothing would be lost in the move.
- 02
Migration to WordPress
Moved pages, texts and the photo archive to the new platform, keeping the section structure.
- 03
Restoration and refresh
Restored the site and refreshed it to work properly on modern devices.
- 04
No-developer editing
Set up an admin where the team publishes news, events and documents on its own.
From Bitrix to WordPress — with nothing lost.
The move happened in stages: inventory first, then migration and checks, and only then the new version went live.
- 01
Inventory
A list of every page, document and photo on the old site.
- 02
Migrate and verify
Content moves to WordPress and is checked against the original.
- 03
Launch
The new version replaces the old one; the team gets admin access.
What the client got
A modern WordPress website with the full content archive. The team publishes news and documents on its own, without a developer.
